You're Not Alone
Here's a little song
to help you get along
It'll see you through
when you're feelin' blue
Though it's not profound,
when you're feelin' down
Oh so down,
sing this little tune
you'll feel better, soon
You're not alone
even though right now
you're on your own
You're loving ways
that can be shown,
your needs are known
You're not alone
And when you cry,
you're just letting go
a heartache from inside
But tomorrow, there’ll
be sunshine and sky
and love close by
You're not alone
You're not alone,
even though right now
your on your own
Even when it's hard
to say the words
your prayers are heard
You're not alone
You're not alone,
say it one more time
I'm not alone
even when it's hard
to say the words
You're prayers are heard
You're not alone
You're not alone
When I first heard John Canann sing this song, it impressed me so much. It reminds me that whether you are male, female, single, or married, we all have bouts of loneliness. No one is immune to this feeling. I have learned that the Savior Jesus Christ is always there to help and strengthen us in our moments of struggle. If only we remember to fall back into His arms. I dedicate this song to my sweet little sister, Marie. She has felt alone many times in her life, but has found the truth that lies in the lyrics of this song through trial and prayer. - Jay Osmond
