The Osmonds Coming to Theatre Severn.
Shropshire Star
June 8, 2011

The Osmond Brothers are coming to Shropshire as part of their farewell UK tour next year.

The group will be playing at the Theatre Severn in Shrewsbury on March 27 next year as part of their Up Close and Personal tour, which has been billed as their final run of gigs in Britain.

For more than five decades, the band has been entertaining their fans around the world with songs such as Crazy Horses, Love Me For A Reason and Long Haired Lover From Liverpool.

Jimmy Osmond said he was already looking forward to next year’s live dates.

“We truly want this tour to be a great big thank you to all our fans for their love and support through the years,” he said.

“We’ve performed in the UK many times, but this final tour will take us all around the UK and allow us to get up close and personal with our fans – we can’t wait.”

The group has sold more than 100 million records over the years.
In 2003, they received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in recognition of their long-running career.
