Donny and Marie Osmond brought some Vegas style to a Toronto stage Wednesday night and announced that some proceeds from the celebrity siblings' show Thursday will go to the Hospital for Sick Children. |
The pair wowed the crowd at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts with Donny and Marie Live, performing a mix of Broadway, big band, rock, country and opera.
Donny, who lived in Toronto in the 1990s while performing the title role in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, told the audience the city feels like home to him.
Marie dedicated an operatic number to her late son, Michael Bryan, who took his own life last year. She’s been a longtime supporter of the Children’s Miracle Network.
The duo that has enjoyed five decades in show biz attended an event at Sick Kids hospital Thursday afternoon, and said a portion of the proceeds from the evening show will go to the Sick Kids Foundation.
Donny and Marie Live runs until July 17. Click here for ticket information.
