Jimmy Osmond And His Brothers Set Aylesbury Date
On Their Last Ever UK Tour
July 13, 2011
THE Osmond Brothers have been entertaining their fanatical fans for 50 years, but sadly all good things must come to an end and next year the evergreen foursome will embark on a farewell tour of the UK.
Merrill, Wayne, Jay and little Jimmy Osmond plan to go out with a bang, packing in 50 intimate shows in just two months, including a stop at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre.
“I’m really excited about it, but it’s also kind of bittersweet,” said Jimmy.
"I’m thrilled to be celebrating what we have been doing for so many years, but what I’ve always enjoyed most during my career is working with my brothers, so it will be kind of sad knowing this is our last big tour.”
The brothers have achieved amazing success over the past 50 years as a group and as solo performers selling over 100 million albums with 59 gold and platinum recordings. But they have decided to call it a day over here to pursue their own projects and spend more time with their families – and it’s clear they have earned a break.
