Fred Olsen Cruise Lines has pulled off a major entertainment scoop and will star three of The Osmonds – perhaps the world’s best-known pop family – on two Balmoral cruises in spring 2012.
Wayne, Jay and Jimmy - but alas no Donny and Marie - will be bringing a touch of ‘Osmondmania’ to the high seas on the 14-night cruise of the Western Mediterranean, departing on May12 from Southampton, and on a three-night mini-cruise to Ostende and Le Havre from the same port, departing May 26.
The Osmonds have enjoyed a string of massive hits on both sides of the Atlantic throughout their long career, and have sold millions of albums, with several gold and platinum discs to their credit.

The cruise to the Western Mediterranean is a 14-night cruisecalling at Lisbon (Portugal), Almeria (Spain), Alicante (Spain), Palma (Mallorca), Mahon (Menorca), Gibraltar and La Coruna (Spain), before returning to Southampton.
