CENTERVILLE, Utah—
While Marie Osmond was on her honeymoon, brother Donny headed up to Davis County to thank fans for their continued support of the singing duo. |
The brother-sister duet recorded their first album together in 30 years and fans stood in long lines at the Centerville Wal-Mart to get their hands on an autographed copy of "Donny and Marie," their new album released earlier this month.
"Awesome entertainers, awesome singers and I also like their moral standards that they have," said Esther Rowland.
With a career spanning nearly five decades, the Osmond siblings show no signs of slowing down. In addition to the new album, they perform at the Flamingo in Las Vegas to sold-out crowds.
"We had no idea the Donny and Marie brand would be riding this kind of wave again," said Donny. "our show in Vegas...we were suppose to be there 6 weeks, now it's 3 years maybe another year or two who knows."
The album, a combination of country and love ballads, is already listed in the Top 10 on both country and pop charts.
