Donny is coming back to Chicago. And he's bringing Marie.
The singing Osmond siblings will perform in Chicago next Christmas, where Donny famously spent some 18 months in the early 1990s starring in |
"Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" at the Chicago Theatre, a pivotal time in the renaissance of the Loop theater district. Donny Osmond is now a grandfather. And looking good.
The Osmonds are bringing what will essentially be a restaging of their 2010 Broadway show, "Donny & Marie: A Broadway Christmas" (above), albeit with a new title: "Donny & Marie — Christmas in Chicago." Their most recent double-act had its origins at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, where it opened in 2008 and where they are are performing this week.
The holiday show will play a three-week engagement at the Oriental Theatre, 24 W. Randoph St., from Dec. 6-24. Individual tickets ($37-$100) are not yet on sale.
