Donny & Marie Osmond have reunited to record together again after 30 years with a new album, produced by Buddy Cannon, best known for producing Kenny Chesney’s hit albums, called, of course. "Donny & Marie."
The album will be released May 3.
And on May 7, Donny will appear at the Centerville Wal Mart between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. (221 West Parrish Lane.) |
The album features songs written by Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi), Carole King and Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, Carole Bayer Sager, David Foster, Jeremy Lubbock, Richard Marx, Frank Myers, Gary Baker, Susan Longacre, Walt Aldridge and Gavin DeGraw, who wrote and co-produced "I Have You To Thank". Gavin also performed on the album as well as Richie Sambora.
In 2008, Donny & Marie announced they were reuniting for what was intended to be a six-month run headlining at the legendary Flamingo on the Las Vegas Strip. Donny & Marie opened in September 2008. After only 5 weeks, their engagement was extended for two years due to unprecedented demand. It has since been extended yet again through the end of 2012.
