Fans Celebrate Donny & Marie's 500th Show

LAS VEGAS -- At the 500th show of Las Vegas entertainers Donny and Marie Osmond, fans lined up early outside the Flamingo Showroom.
The brother-and-sister act debuted at the showroom in September 2008, and fans said they've been wowed ever since.
"I'm proud of them," fan Beth Hanson, of Utah, said. "I think it's great."
Fans said that the Osmonds are so successful because they're genuine and amazing entertainers.
"Every single song is a hit," fan Frances Ganz, of California, said. "That's what makes them special. Music back then was music."
Caesars Entertainment regional president Rick Mazer said Donny and Marie always give 110 percent to their performances.
"They continue to be one of the hottest tickets in the marketplace," Mazer said. "They go out there. They give it their all every single show."
Their contracts last through the end of this year. Mazer said they are in negotiations and hope to extend it for at least another year.
