Luncheon Takes Place Tomorrow At The Crystal Tea Room
PHILADELPHIA, PA -- (Marketwire) -- 05/02/11 -- The ninth-annual Women Against MS Luncheon, hosted by CBS3's Kathy Orr, will feature a keynote speech and performance by David Osmond, part of the second generation of the famous Osmond family singers -- and a second generation living with MS.
David Osmond was diagnosed with MS in 2006 but has overcome the daily unpredictability to carry on the family tradition of entertaining people across the country. His father, Alan Osmond, also lives with MS.
The Women Against MS Luncheon unites a powerful network of women throughout the region to create a world free of MS. This year's event will feature a special presentation of the Woman of Spirit Award to local businesswoman Reneé Amoore, the President and CEO of the Amoore Group.

About MS
Every hour in the United States, someone is newly diagnosed with MS, an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system. Symptoms range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis.
About the National MS Society
MS stops people from moving. The National MS Society exists to make sure it doesn't. We do this through our home office and 50-state network of chapters by funding more MS research and providing more services than any other volunteer-led organization. |
