In this episode, Donny played singer, Danny Fields a singer who was trying to make it into the music industry. He was embarrassed by his family who were simple folk from the hills of West Virginia. The episode included Loni Anderson, Rich Little, Slim Pickens, and Marion Ross. George Osmond also made a cameo appearance.
